The experience

This is a full-day horseback adventure from the Jacó side, up to Finca Tucanes in Londres de Quepos, the same family farm and the same beautiful ride our Manuel Antonio guests take. Because Jacó is farther from the farm, it is a longer day with an early start and round-trip transport included.

When you arrive, the team gets you comfortable in the saddle and gives a full safety briefing before you set off. The trail winds through local farmland and rainforest to a natural pool where you can cool off, and you finish with a fresh lunch at the ranch.

After hotel pickup, you drive up to Finca Tucanes, where the team fits your gear and runs a safety briefing before you mount up. The ride takes you along scenic jungle trails and through working farmland, climbing into the rainforest where you may spot toucans, scarlet macaws, and white-faced monkeys.

Partway along, a natural pool gives you the chance to get off the horse and cool off in the jungle before the ride back. The day wraps up with a relaxed lunch at the ranch and time to meet the animals who live there. It is the same farm and waterfall ride as our Manuel Antonio horseback tour, just set up for guests staying in the Jacó, Herradura, and Los Sueños area.
