The waters off Quepos and Manuel Antonio are legendary for offshore fishing. A short run to the fishing grounds puts you on Pacific sailfish, blue and black marlin, mahi-mahi (dorado), yellowfin tuna, roosterfish and more. Every charter runs on a well-equipped boat with an experienced bilingual captain and mate who know exactly where the bite is.
Full-Day Offshore Charter
About 8 hours chasing billfish and pelagics offshore, with captain, crew, tackle, bait and refreshments aboard. For anglers who want the full run to the fishing grounds.
Half-Day Charter
About 5 hours of inshore and nearshore action, or a first taste of Costa Rica sport fishing. Same boat, captain and gear, shorter day.
Damas Island Mangrove Fishing
A calm-water alternative in the Damas estuary: snook, snapper and corvina among the mangroves, great for families and light tackle.

Sport fishing FAQ
Sailfish run strong December to April, with marlin and tuna year-round and dorado peaking in the green season. We will advise the best dates for your target species.
Charters are private and priced per boat for up to 4 anglers. As a starting estimate, the Damas mangrove trip is from $850, a half day from $1,500, and a full offshore day from $1,900. Boats and setups vary widely and rates shift with the season, so send your dates above for an exact quote.
No experience needed and all tackle is provided. Our crew helps beginners and seasoned anglers alike.
Billfish (sailfish and marlin) are catch-and-release to protect the fishery. Dorado, tuna and other table fish can be kept, and many restaurants will cook your catch.
